THE TOURBIERE OF LANDEMARAIS

Departmental natural area (10 km north of Fougères) the Peat bog of Landemarais covers 26 ha. It is home to a flora and vegetation characteristic of acid and humid environments:
cranberries, round-leaved sundews, clover of water, marsh camaret and many other species to discover. It is also rich of a varied fauna.
It attracts many birds that find there shelter and food, viviparous lizards, arboreal green tree frogs (which we hear the song).

THE BRITTANY AMERICAN CEMETERY AND MEMORIAL

St. James American Cemetery and Memorial (Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial) is an American military cemetery located in France.
​
It was built in the commune of Montjoie-Saint-Martin in the immediate vicinity of Saint-James, capital of the canton of the Manche department. This cemetery contains the bodies of 4,410 American soldiers who died during World War II, most of them during the Normandy and Brittany campaigns in 1944.

On one wall are engraved the names of 498 soldiers whose bodies do not have were found.

THE BASILICA AND THE SANCTUARY OF PONTMAIN
High place of Christian pilgrimage, the shrine of Pontmain, in Mayenne, born following the apparition of the Virgin Mary to children of the village on January 17, 1871.

THE MONT-SAINT-MICHEL
